Jones County Cross Country

History

The Jones County Cross Country team was established in 1993 when the high school was a AAA school. As the years progressed the school moved across town and grew to a AAAA school. Several coaches have led the teams over the years, Travis Lawson coached the first teams in 1993 and he would continue to lead the two teams until 1995. After the first few seasons the Hounds would have a coach for each team of boys and girls.
